Crochet - If one round in a round doily ends in one chain and the next round begins with a dc 3 chains away?
What should I do?
This is the instruction - [(dc, 3 ch, dc) in 4th ch of next lp, 3 ch]
This might seem stupid but normally when I finish a round the next just starts with chaining so I'm confused.
Sometimes this type of instruction at the end of a round is done to put you in the middle of loop to start the next round. For example instead of chaining 3 and joining with a slip stitch in the beginning stitch then slip stitching to the middle of a loop to start the next round; you would chain 1 and dc in the beginning stitch and would already be in the middle of a loop. Kind of hard to explain in writing.
