 How should I decorate my room? We moved late last year and I still havn't gotten my room the way I want it. Its painted a teal-ish blue. I got a new bed, its a dark wood sleigh bed. I couldn't find any good bedding and needed some so I just picked white with black flowers. I don't really like it anymore, but I just bought it so I guess I have to stick with it for now. My desk, which I already had, is white, which doesn't match the dark wood look, but I can't get a new one because this one is pretty new anyways. I got a bamboo, circular chair, with black cushion from Pier One. My tv is just on a little cupboard. I really want my room to be cool. My brother has a huge room and he painted it gray and has a cool glass desk and shelves and black bed. I need some decorating ideas. Pictures would be awesome! Two choices here. Regarding the desk, would your parents let you paint it? If you are allowed to paint your furniture, I would get the eggplant sheets, recover the cusion and paint all your furniture in a slate grey. You could leave the bamboo chair natural and pick up an inexpensive bamboo rug. It would look terrific! |
